Jennifer Keida
CEO & President
As co-owner of Standard, Jennifer Keida oversees finances, sales, marketing, and the future direction of the company.
She started with the Standard team in 2000 after graduating from Alfred University with a BFA and has enjoyed many other experiences and adventures. She was the first person in the company to become certified by Shell and by the Building Performance Institute (BPI) as a building analyst (BPI-BA1). This has then enabled Standard to initiate the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) program offerings.
Jennifer’s contributions and support of her community are evident in the many organizations she has been involved in throughout her years with Standard. She has held board positions with BPI, Griffiss Local Development Corporation (GLDC), Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Mohawk Valley (HBRMV), and the Boys and Girls Club.
Additionally, she served on the board of directors for the Mohawk Valley Chamber of Commerce from 2005 until 2013 and served as chairperson of the organization in 2009.
In 2009, she was also invited to sit on the advisory council for NYSERDA’s Green Jobs/Green NY programs. The American Heart Association and its mission are also very important to Jennifer. She currently holds a board position on the Utica American Heart Association board and served as the campaign chairperson for the Go Red for Women campaign in 2019 and 2020.
