Standard Announces Promotions

Standard, is pleased to announce the following promotions:

Tyrell Tompkins has been promoted to Senior Director of Process Improvement. In this leadership role, Ty will oversee change management initiatives and will drive operational excellence by streamlining processes, fostering collaboration and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across all departments.

Ty joined Standard as an intern in 2023 and quickly made an impact, earning a full-time position shortly thereafter. Since then, he has excelled in various roles, applying his leadership skills, technical expertise and strategic mindset to enhance operations and efficiency.

In addition to his experience at Standard, Ty brings a remarkable 23-year career in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He has led operations and logistics across the U.S. and the Middle East during five combat deployments and played a pivotal role in strategic initiatives and training programs within the Ordnance Corps. His certifications as a Logistics Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Lean Practitioner, and Staff and Faculty Development Instructor reflect his commitment to excellence.

Dylan English has been promoted to Market Rate Programs Director. In his role, Dylan will be a vital liaison between NYS programs and Standard’s consultant team overseeing initiatives like Clean Heat, Comfort Home, Sealed and other rebate incentive offerings.

Dylan joined Standard in 2021 as an Energy Auditor and quickly advanced to a senior Whole House Consultant role, where he excelled in providing comprehensive energy solutions tailored to customer needs. He later served as Director of New Construction, where his leadership and technical expertise left a lasting impact on our operations.

Before joining Standard, Dylan built a diverse skill set as a landscape foreman, contractor and project manager, bringing hands-on experience and a keen eye for detail to his work. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from Utica College.

Olivia Hinman has been promoted to Operations Dispatch Manager. In this role, Olivia will lead the scheduling and dispatching of various teams and vehicles to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Olivia has been a part of Team Standard since 2020 when she started as an Assistant Home Consultant, and then transitioned into the role of Customer Experience Manager. Olivia’s passion for operational efficiency and her ability for team coordination led her to become our HVAC Service Dispatch Manager, working closely with technicians and departments to schedule service calls and installs seamlessly. Before joining Standard, Olivia brought her talent for dispatching to a propane company, where she managed HVAC service and installations.

Brandon Martin has been promoted to Director of Insulation. In this position, Brandon will work closely with the insulation team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality project execution. He will help optimize workflows, uphold compliance and ensure the highest quality of work is completed to meet customer and company standards.

Prior to joining Standard, Brandon spent 24 years honing his skills in carpentry and auto body work.

Using her decades of industry expertise, Jennifer has held board positions at the Building Performance Institute (BPI), Griffiss Local Development Corporation (GLDC), Home Builders and Remodelers Association of the Mohawk Valley (HBRMV) and sat on the advisory council for NYSERDA’s Green Jobs – Green New York (GJGNY) program.
