Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team here at Standard as a HVAC Service Manager. The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for managing all aspects and functions of assigned HVAC installation projects and service requests to include direct oversight for planning, coordinating, and directing activates of the HVAC Department; maintaining a workforce consistent with business activity; scheduling projects to ensure profitability, timely completion, and maximum customer satisfaction; communication of installation information to proper personnel to allow for effective planning and execution of project requirements; as well as management and development of employees to create a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Direct oversight of HVAC Service Technicians
- Oversees the installation process to include:
- Ensuring complete and accurate forms in database
- Registering equipment
- Coordinates with other team members for material procurement
- Maintains safety and quality as a top priority
- Provides data to the Finance Department to assist in budget expectations and job costing analyses
- Schedules, directed and provides support to HVAC technicians to meet service and install demands and customer expectations
- Communicates with customers and technicians on timing and expectations
- Maintenance communication with vendors concerning product issues and concerns
- Works with other departmental managers to meet company goals
- Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations
Competencies
- Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and maintenance
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to trouble shoot and problem-solve effectively
- Certificate or degree in HVAC or related field preferred
Compensation
Salary range: $60,000 – $80,000
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Standard reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
