Who qualifies for the EmPower program?

Approximately 92% of Upstate New Yorkers qualify for free or low-cost energy improvements with the EmPower+ program. Standard has already helped thousands of homeowners and renters pay for improvement. Qualification depends on your household income and your energy provider’s participation in the program.

What payment options do you provide?

Standard’s primary mission is to increase access of essential energy upgrades to all residents of the Mohawk Valley and Capital Region. We participate in several grant and rebate programs, which allows up to provide free and low-cost upgrades to many of our clients. We also partner with GreenSky Financing and NYSERDA Financing to provide no-interest and fixed-rate financing options.
